Sandy Teichmann, RN - Public Health Administrator
Sandy began her career with the Calhoun County Health Department in October 2008, as the WIC/FCM nurse, and through the years has worked in almost every program at CCHD. In December, 2019, Sandy was promoted from Director of Nursing to Public Health Administrator. She feels that her participation in various programs throughout the years helps her to be a well-rounded Administrator. Sandy is grateful for a staff that shares her goal of assuring that the people of Calhoun may live healthy lives.
Megan Eilerman - Assistant Administrator
Megan began her career with the Calhoun County Health Department in September 2013 as the Fiscal Grant Manager, where she worked closely with various departments to manage grants and programs. Her dedication and expertise led to her role as Emergency Preparedness Coordinator in 2015. In 2022, Megan was promoted to Assistant Administrator, a position in which she continues to expand her knowledge and understanding of all facets of the Health Department. Megan resides in Batchtown with her husband and their three children.
Abigail Friedel, RN - Clinical Manager
Abigail is a Registered Nurse who has been with the Calhoun County Health Department since 2023. She serves as the Clinical Manager and leads the Home Health program, providing skilled oversight and compassionate care coordination. Abigail lives in Batchtown with her husband and their two children.
Rebecca Peters, RN - Director of Nursing
Rebecca joined the Health Department team in the fall of 2024 as the Director of Nursing. In her role, she leads several key areas, including the immunization program, communicable disease control, and various other public health nursing initiatives. She also provides oversight for the Home Health department, ensuring high-quality care and services. Rebecca resides in Batchtown with her husband and their four children.
Annie Rose - Director of Environmental Health
Annie serves as the Director of Environmental Health at the Calhoun County Health Department, overseeing key areas such as food inspections, septic systems, water safety, vector control (including mosquitoes and ticks), and nuisance investigations. In addition to her environmental health responsibilities, she also supports families as the breastfeeding peer counselor for the WIC program. Annie has been with CCHD since August 2020 and resides in Hardin with her husband and their two children.
