Megan Eilerman - Public Health Administrator

Since joining the Calhoun County Health Department in 2013 as Fiscal Grant Manager, Megan has demonstrated a strong commitment to responsible stewardship of public funds and effective community health programming. In 2015, she expanded her role by serving as Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, strengthening the county’s readiness and response capabilities. Promoted to Assistant Public Health Administrator in 2022, Megan played an integral role in guiding departmental operations, compliance, and strategic initiatives.

In January 2026, Megan was appointed Public Health Administrator. With more than a decade of service to the department, she is dedicated to strengthening public health systems and ensuring the well-being of Calhoun County families.

Abigail Friedel, RN - Clinical Manager

Abigail joined the Calhoun County Health Department in 2023 and currently serves as Clinical Manager. In this role, she leads the Home Health Program, providing clinical oversight, ensuring quality patient care, and supporting a team dedicated to serving residents in their homes. Abigail is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to the community.

She resides in Batchtown with her husband and their two children.

Rebecca Peters, RN - Director of Nursing

Since joining the Health Department in fall 2024 as Director of Nursing, Rebecca has played an integral leadership role across clinical and public health services. She directs immunization efforts, communicable disease control, and other nursing initiatives, and ensures excellence in the Home Health Department.

Rebecca is an essential member of the department’s executive leadership team, partnering closely with the Administrator to support operational oversight and guide strategic initiatives.

Rebecca resides in Batchtown with her husband and their four children.

Annie Rose - Director of Environmental Health

Annie serves as Director of Environmental Health at the Calhoun County Health Department, where she oversees food protection, private sewage disposal systems, water safety, vector control—including mosquito and tick surveillance—and nuisance investigations.

Since joining CCHD in August 2020, Annie has played a key role in protecting community health through regulatory oversight, education, and prevention efforts. In addition to her work in Calhoun County, she also serves in a dual capacity as Director of Environmental Health for Jersey County, supporting coordinated public health services and regulatory compliance across both counties.

Annie resides in Golden Eagle with her husband and their three children.
